Logomar currently processes over 100,000 pieces of glass per week. The process of glass painting is as follows:
Spray glass painting with KRAUTZBERGER painting machines.
The use of this type of painting machines ensures high quality of the decorated products as well as competitive prices.
We cover the glass with water-based Warnecke & Böhm paints.
Then the painted product is heated in a 25-meter-long glass tunnel kiln.
The process takes about 2 hours at 180˚C.
Before being packaged, the painted products are subjected to a detailed quality control, which consists of a visual assessment of the decorated product as well as:
– mechanical resistance test,
– 24-hour water resistance test,
– dishwasher safe test.
Glass spray painting with KRAUTZBERGER painting machines.
The Logomar company specializes in glass decoration in large volumes.
However, one of the features that characterizes our company from the beginning of our activity is production flexibility.
For this reason, we have a manual painting line, as not all orders can be made on automatic painting machines.
Orders that are commissioned to us in small quantities or due to the complicated shape of the decorated product are handled manually.
These orders are also processed using Warnecke & Böhm water-based paints. All products are also subject to detailed quality control.
Glass decoration using automatic machines designed for round screen printing.
Screen printing is a graphic technique used for many years, transferred almost unchanged for the needs of art glass. The sieve, covered with a film of photosensitive emulsion, is illuminated by a graphic motif developed earlier.
The overexposed emulsion is removed from the sieve with a stream of water, after which the sieve is dried. A glass is placed on the screen-printing table, and a screen in the frame is above it.
On one side, the enamel, previously combined with a suitable medium, is placed along its length or width.
The enamel is spread over the surface of the screen with a squeegee and leaves an imprint on the glass as it passes through the holes in the screen. Then the glass is transferred to the kiln and fixed.
Decorating with the Hot Stamping method
HOT-STAMPING is a surface print applied with the thermal transfer method. The carrier is a special multilayer foil from which, using a hot matrix – the graphics are transferred to the surface of the decorated object. This method is used to refine printing, decorate items, and markings.
In terms of technology, we are prepared to print on flat and round objects.
The advantages of the hot-stamping method are high gloss (especially gold and silver), high wear resistance, printing precision and high color coverage.
Grawerowanie motywów na szkle przy użyciu lasera.
The laser decorating method consists in making a graphic design for a CNC laser.
The next step is to make the appropriate equipment for fixing the glass, on which a graphic pattern is burned with the beam of a laser.
